If you submit an enquiry, we shall use your personal information to administer and respond to your enquiry. Your enquiry will be responded to by the appropriate team. We shall securely store the information you supply and the response we provide. We may produce reports on the use of the contact form service to enable us to monitor and develop it. These reports will be based on anonymous data, which means that individuals will not be identified in the reports.

If you request to receive a newsletter, we shall use your personal information to send it to you by email. If at any time you wish to stop receiving it, please reply directly to the email containing the newsletter with ‘unsubscribe’ in the subject of your email. Your details will be removed from our database immediately.

If you contact us regarding the website we shall use your details to reply to you. We try to respond to all feedback where a valid email address is included. If you make a comment or complaint about other aspects of our services, we may use your details to investigate your comments.

For your best experience, one-hour trial lesson is limited to one topic from any offered subject of your choice. Future lessons have a minimum length of 2 hours each. Should you prefer having a trial lesson longer than 1 hour, additional hours are charged at the standard rates.

In-person trial lesson attracts additional surcharge to cover my travel expenses and time. The charge is £1 per half-mile.

Lessons would be charged using the rates stated on jade.ac/rates/, depending on travel distance and time. 

The three standard rates cover all online lessons and in-person lesson held at addresses within 3.0 miles driving distance and 30 minutes driving time, using the fastest driving route provided by Google Maps.

Rates would be agreed and negotiated prior to scheduling any lessons using predicted route distance and time, but are fixed and independent of actual travel route and time.

Lesson rates stated on jade.ac/rates may or may not apply to in-person lessons shorter than 2 hours, unless agreed otherwise. Shorter lessons are available from 45 minutes for the following rates,

Very Short (45 minutes): 50% additional to the stated hourly rate. 

Short (60, 75, 90 minutes): 33% additional to the stated hourly rate.

Year 8 to Year 11 refers to tuition for subjects of curriculums commonly at that level, not necessarily referring to the year group of the student.

Tuition for subjects not mentioned below is charged at rates for ‘Year 12 and beyond’.
